Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it.

Last updated: 17 September 2026

1. Who we are

Foresight Fleet Solutions is a trading name of FORESIGHT FLEET SOLUTIONS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17454388. We provide fleet driver risk assessment, driver development and related services to organisations in the United Kingdom.

FORESIGHT FLEET SOLUTIONS LTD is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

Registered office: Suite Ra01, 195 - 197 Wood Street, London, England, E17 3NU.

You can contact us about privacy matters by email at info@foresightfleetsolutions.com or by telephone on 0330 122 2926.

2. What personal data we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to enquiries and deliver services. Through this website, that means:

  • Contact details you submit — name, job title, company name, email address and telephone number
  • Enquiry details — the service you are interested in, approximate driver numbers, your business location and anything you tell us in a message
  • Fleet Risk Review responses, where you choose to request a full written review
  • Your marketing preference, where you give it
  • Technical data such as IP address and browser information, processed by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the site
  • How you found us — where your visit began from an advertisement or a tagged campaign link, the campaign information in that link is attached to your enquiry so we know which source produced it
  • Analytics data, only if you accept analytics cookies

We do not ask for special category data through this website, and we ask that you do not send it to us through the enquiry forms.

3. How we use it and our lawful basis

We rely on the following lawful bases under the UK GDPR:

  • Legitimate interests — responding to a business enquiry you have sent us, and providing the information you asked for
  • Contract — where you become a client, to arrange, deliver and report on assessments
  • Consent — sending you marketing emails, and setting non-essential cookies
  • Legal obligation — keeping records we are required to keep, for example for tax purposes

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.

4. Fleet Risk Review data

You can complete the Fleet Risk Review questionnaire and see your observations without giving us any personal data. Your answers stay in your browser unless you choose to request a full written review.

If you do request a full review, we receive your answers together with the contact details you provide, so that we can prepare and discuss it with you. We also record an internal indication of how we should prioritise the enquiry and which service may be relevant — this is used only for our own triage and is never shown to you as a score or rating.

The Fleet Risk Review is a self-assessment tool. It does not assess legal compliance and does not constitute legal advice.

5. Location suggestions on our forms

Our enquiry forms offer suggestions as you type a business location, so you can pick a town, city, postcode district or postcode instead of typing it out. The suggestions come from a UK location lookup service built on Ordnance Survey and Office for National Statistics open data.

Your device does not contact that service. The lookup is made by our own website server, so your IP address and your browser are never shared with it — all it receives are the characters you type into a location field. It sets no cookies and does not need your consent.

If you choose a suggestion we keep the town or city, the county or administrative area, the postcode or postcode district and the country alongside your enquiry, so we can tell where your fleet is based. We do not collect map coordinates, and we never ask for a full premises address for an initial enquiry.

You do not have to use the suggestions. Typing your location in yourself works exactly the same, and your enquiry is sent normally if the suggestion service is unavailable.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, and only as far as they need it:

  • Our website hosting and form-handling provider, which processes and stores form submissions on our behalf, and sends us an email notification when an enquiry arrives
  • A UK location lookup service, queried by our server rather than by your device, which receives only the characters you type into a location field
  • Our email and business software providers
  • Google, where you have accepted analytics cookies — our advertising measurement tool sends Google information about your visit, such as your IP address and the pages you view, so we can see which advertisements lead to enquiries
  • Professional advisers and, where we are legally required to, regulators or law enforcement

Where a provider processes personal data outside the UK, we rely on the appropriate safeguards permitted by UK data protection law.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a working relationship are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted, so we can pick up a conversation if you come back to us.

Client records, including assessment reports, are kept for as long as we provide services and then for the period necessary to meet our legal, insurance and professional obligations.

Marketing preferences are kept until you withdraw consent, plus a record of the withdrawal so we can honour it.

8. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Be informed about how we use your personal data
  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Ask us to erase data where there is no good reason for us to keep it
  • Restrict or object to our processing
  • Data portability, where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means
  • Withdraw consent to marketing at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email info@foresightfleetsolutions.com. We will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

9. Security

This website is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted securely and are accessible only to authorised members of our team. We keep access to personal data limited to those who need it to do their job.

No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If you would rather not use the website forms, please call us instead.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in how we operate or in the law. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
